Bend it like Beckham!

I finally checked out the new Wembley Stadium last night. I commute by the stadium everyday on my way to work and have been eagerly anticipating the opportunity to get up close to this impressive dwelling.

I went to an international friendly match between England and Czech Republic. Milan Baros scored first the Czechs. Beckham then "bent in like Beckham" on a corner kick into the 6 yard box which was headed in by Man United's Wes Brown. Czech scored again to take the lead. With nearly one minute left of injury time, Joe Cole scored on a scramble in front the goal which ended the game in a draw.
