2010 - Year of the Blog

More and more people are blogging in 2010 which has lead to more and more boring blogs about people's random thoughts, political views, tireless opinions, and personal issues in which some are just a bit too overly consumed with. C'mon people, Smile.

So, I'm going to and stay away from all that hot mess and just simply continue to document my adventures in travel, music, and art. For a short term memory guy like myself this is very beneficial so consider this my online scrapbook. This is for me but if you happen a fan of art, music, traveling, and steamy romance then this can be a place to come and shut your brain off and just enjoy the audio-visual sensory overload.

So with that being said, winter came and went and instead of running away from the snow and cold weather, I fully embraced the outdoors and hit the hills! The season was off to a good start with a few big storms, then the snowfall was minimal, followed by some great snowstorms in early March which led to a great end of the season and some epic spring riding. This winter found myself ripping peak to creak at Mt. Snow, Sunday River, Killington, and one grarly week-long trip to Sugarloaf!

See some pics below.

As far as art is concerned, I've been taking a break from my mass purchasing addiction of art prints and have only been buying pieces that I really enjoy. I've added a few prints from my favorite artists to my collection. These pieces really stood out to me and although larger and a bit more pricey, they are pieces that I felt were good investments and would also look great the wall!

Jose Parla - 184th Street

David Choe - Ignored Prayers
Greg Simkins - All My Dreams
